Highlights include:
Old Plaques.
JKC now has the sizes and location, needs to get into the Town Hall to draw up a plan/draft layout for the Conservation Officer at CEBC. It would be good to have the plan ready for the council meeting w/c 26.4.21. Check with J.Mac / D.McG availability of access to the TH.
Interpretation/ Information Boards.
Draft layout/script for the board was circulated prior to the meeting. JKC to amend Cllr Margaret Williamson to Margaret Williamson MBE.DL.
Look at case type, group to vote on lower or uppercase type for the inscription.
Possibly add QR code to link in with CTC website for fully description/more detailed background.
Attach to a Portland stone backing plate, site on left hand side of the site entrance
JKC to work out cost for both the board and the extra plaques for the airmen which will be sited near the Saxon Cross.
Dedication Event.
19.9.21 MS has issued a document showing who has been contacted re dates in their diaries.
Perhaps look at two scenarios of full or part parade.
