Congleton’s Green Fayre returns on Saturday 27th September 2025, and you’re invited to be part of it! The High Street will be transformed into a vibrant hub of more than 30 stalls, all offering ideas, products, and services to help you live more sustainably. From eco-friendly organisations and local businesses to hands-on experiences in the Repair Café and the Big Clothes Movement inside the Town Hall, there’s something for everyone. Come along, get inspired, and discover simple ways to make a big difference for our community and our planet.

Green Fayre 27th September
We Have the Power to Impact Our Future, and We’re Doing Something About It
The world is experiencing more extreme weather conditions: intense heat, drought, floods and storms. The polar ice caps are melting. Global temperatures are up by 1.2 0C and increasing by 0.2 0C per decade. At the same time, the planet is also facing a nature emergency with a million of the nine million species facing extinction.
In the face of such extreme odds, you can wonder about the part you play. First, it’s about education, understanding the problem and then the practical steps we can all take to reduce our carbon foot.
The Green Fayre is a chance to explore the issues and solutions the town has to offer. This has been organised by Congleton Partnership and Congleton Town Council.

Get informed and get involved at the Congleton Green Fayre. More than 30 stalls housing a wide range of groups, organisations and companies will be found on Congleton’s closed High Street. All stalls will have information, products or services which will help you to live more sustainably in Congleton.
