Highlights include:
PCSO Project – Working Group Update.
The press release went out in The Chronicle, plus a social media report around the project from both Cheshire Police and Ourselves (Debbie).
The Lions have already received a request for a gift pack.
All 3 surgeries have been approached:- Requests for support to date are:-
Lawton House– 20
Meadowside – 10
Readesmoor – 1 by default (still to action letters to patients)
Heathview 5
Bear Necessities 7
Items from Alzheimer’s Soc should be delivered by Thursday
Packing – Fri/Sat at the Police Station
AgeUK has printed us 80 of their activity packs.
Clare to send MS a copy of the Sporting Pink Paper for consideration, MS circulated the group for feedback. DR has had a number of copies printed, plush some of Clare’s memory box guides
Tesco and Morrisons have gifted some Puzzle Books and various other items.
Diane thanked a number of our members for the support they have given:- Jo Fishwick, Liz Stubbs, David Morris, Debbie Coxon, Clare Sheard (hopefully I have not missed any) also thanks to our sponsors match funders, Congleton Lions, Plus Dane, Rotary Club, Town Trust and our Partners Cheshire Police.
The meeting recorded its thanks to Diane for all of the hard work she has put into this project.
Debbie is currently working on the PR both pre and post-delivery, social media and press.
This is being recorded as our Dementia Week initiative.

Whilst our normal activities and events are still some way off we can help raise awareness of dementia and the commitment that is needed to help improve treatments and support around this terrible disease.

News just in- Congleton Cricket Club are restarting their Monday Company Corner 10am to 12pm
MS to advise the group as things come on stream.
