Mini Bus Scheme
Aim: Congleton Community Transport Partnership
Mini Bus scheme launched 15th March. New Life Church will garage and administer the scheme.
The Partnership is currently looking to build up a pool of volunteer drivers to support organisations that do not have their own drivers. 2 x minibuses (1×8 and 1×15 seats).
Hiring is open to any organisation that has a connection with The Partnership.
Special community rates charged.
Usage growing across the 2 minibuses. Ongoing development, but starting to get regular users.
In the last year, the buses made 164 trips across 20 regular users and just broke even.
Support received from Redrow Homes, Town Trust and The Enclosure Trust.
