Congleton Partnership is thrilled to announce the return of the Congleton Community Health and Wellbeing Fayre, set to take place at the Congleton Town Hall on Tuesday 26 March, 2024. Open from 10 am to 3 pm, this event promises a day of enriching activities, workshops, and exhibits—all completely free of charge. With more than 35 exhibitors, attendees will have the unique chance to explore a variety of health and wellness services. Plus, don’t miss out on the goody bags, enticing raffle prizes, and the chance to partake in interactive workshops. Enjoy complimentary tea and snacks served in Bluey’s Cafe inside the Town Hall—a perfect setting to mingle and relax.

Workshops and Training Sessions

Defibrillator Training by Congleton Lions & NWAS: In collaboration with the Northwest Ambulance Service Community Resuscitation Team, we’re offering hands-on defibrillator training sessions throughout the day. This invaluable experience not only demystifies the use of defibrillators but also equips you with CPR skills, boosting your confidence to act in emergencies.

Dementia Friends Workshop at 10:30 am: Gain insights into effective communication strategies and supportive measures for enhancing the lives of those living with dementia in our community. This workshop is a must-attend for anyone looking to foster a more inclusive and understanding environment.

Energy-Saving Talk at 11:30 am by Citizens Advice: Join us for an engaging discussion on navigating the energy crisis, including practical tips for reducing your energy consumption and saving money. This session covers everything from available support to simple lifestyle adjustments for a more sustainable living.

Chair-Based Aerobics with Becky Thorley at 2 pm: Perfect for all ages and fitness levels, this chair-based aerobics class focuses on improving coordination and flexibility in a fun, inclusive environment.
