Highlights include:

Dementia Friendly Town.

New target for Dementia Friends set at 1000, currently, at 576 (61 gained last week at Smallwood Primary School). 26 organisations/businesses involved. We have 14 businesses that we are currently working with to improve their physical environment. A new Dementia Friendly leaflet is due to be issued in the next few weeks. Next Dementia Group meeting is 12th March, a Dementia Friends network meeting is being held in the Town hall on Wed 13th March.

Youth Forum – PB Project.

Project on Mental Health and Substance Misuse is now coming to its conclusion. Quite a bit of sustainability around what has been delivered, with ongoing opportunity to keep delivering.
P.Bates to look at what external support there is to help us. No feedback from Paul Bates as yet.
Eaton Bank Academy is happy to support both Congleton High School and other schools within Cheshire East with what they are successfully delivering with their students.
J.Money to have the new “60 things to do” leaflet ready by the mid-March (5000copies) so that it can be issued before the Easter break.

Leisure Centre.
Planning application in ( 18/6319c) and work is planned to begin May/June with around 18 month to complete. This will not affect Hankinson’s Field and will offer both improved and increased range of activities.

1. Friends of Congleton Park. Request for support of their Brass on The Grass Programme. £500 awarded MS send out notification and criteria document. Purchase order number 937/1819
2. Triathlon. Children’s medals – £300 awarded. To be paid internally
3. Community Projects / Congleton Creative. Hidden Talents /Hidden Places project. £500 awarded MS sent out confirmation and criteria document. Purchase order number 938/1819
